Wenn Indiepartment in Graz rufen, dann kommen sie. Sowohl die Bands als auch die Konzertbesucher, wie das restlos ausverkaufte Wanda-Konzert vor Kurzem und das mehr als gut gefüllte Notwist-Konzert gestern Abend deutlich zeigen.
Mit frischem “Amore” Stempel am Handgelenk begannen die Münchner Aloa Input mit ihrem Mix aus verschiedensten Genres teils atmosphärische, teils schnellere Klänge zu kreieren. Dass die Jungs nicht zum ersten Mal auf einer Bühne standen, war recht klar, warum sie Begleitband von Notwist sind, ebenso. Ein paar neue Fans kamen in Graz sicherlich dazu.
Doch Twist and Shout
The Notwist zeigten sich danach von ihrer teils erstaunlich rockigen Seite, sowohl in Bezug auf Bühnenshow als auch soundtechnisch. Besonders Letzteres wurde von einigen Konzertbesuchern kritisiert. Der Stimmung tat dies keinen Abbruch, auch wenn sich die Grazer Fanbase wie traditionell gewohnt nur sehr vereinzelt zu tanzähnlichen Bewegungen hinreißen ließ. Teilweise war das auch schwer, selten sieht man Konzertbesucher mit Rotweinkelchen in der Hand, dass hier öfters Jazz-Konzerte stattfinden war unübersehbar.
Notwist führte im Laufe der Show durch Höhen und Tiefen, von atmosphärischen Klangwänden bis hin zu energetischen Ausbrüchen wurde nichts ausgelassen. Spätestens bei der Zugabe nach 90 Minuten wurde den meisten dann klar, dass sie doch lieber noch länger hier bleiben würden als sich in die regnerische Grazer Nacht zu flüchten. Im Endeffekt ein gelungener Abend mit zwei sympathischen Bands.
